
The coaching staff at Style Gymnastics are professional, personal, caring, safety-certified (CPR and First Aid) and highly qualified. Our emphasis on correct form, proper technique and precise execution has and will results in a stronger base in the sport for all of our competitive and non-competitive gymnasts and cheerleaders.
Farzi Wlotzka - Farzi is the head coach and owner of Style Gymnastics and has over 30 years of experience in gymnastics instruction; ECEPT instructor certifier. She competed in an international and national arena and is USAG certified. Farzi obtained her Ph.D. in Education and Student Development from American University. Her master's degree is in Education Administration and Supervision and her undergraduate degree (B.S.) is in Physical Education.
Yael Guillaume- Yael is a local college student who is currently teaching classes and assisting in front desk duties.
Kim Jernigan- Kim is a long time Frederick resident and has had children involved in the sport of gymnastics for many years. With a Business Communication/Public Relations degree from James Madison University, Kim serves as Business Manager and Development Coordinator to the gym.
Alexis Packard- Alexis competed through her college years where she won many college level honors including “Big Ten Athlete of the Year”. As a USAG gymnast, she competed for the United States in national competition. She now serves in several capacities including instuctor substitute teacher. She also contributes articles on nutrition and health to the Style Newsletter.
Kathy Pickens- Kathy was a swimmer and diver in middle school and high school. Kathy has been teaching and coaching for the past 4 years. She teaches preschool as well as advanced classes. She also has been coaching team and pre-team gymnasts for the past several years.
Valerie Pickens- Valerie is a high school junior who is currently competing as a Level 9 USAG gymnast at Style. Having assisted in classes over the past year, she took on the role of Pre-team coach and works with about 15 young gymnasts at Style. She hopes to continue her gymnastics career in college
Elaina Previte- Elaina is a local high school student and assists in hosting Birthday Parties at Style Gymnastics. She is currently a Mason Dixon gymnast, but has also competed as a USAG gymnast.
Erin Previte- Erin Previte is currently a college freshman and currently serves as class substitute and works with the summer camp program. Erin has been in gymnastics since she was very young and finished her career as a Level 10 USAG gymnast.
Tracey Schnieder- Tracey serves as class registrar and birthday party coordinator. The mother of several children herself, she loves children and enjoys the gym atmosphere as youngsters are encouraged to build their confidence through gymnastics.
Denise Slaughter- Denise especially enjoys teaching younger classes at Style. She has been teaching for several years and in 2007 began assisting in our Mason Dixon competitive program.
Lewis Thompson - Lewis is a former competitive gymnast and has been coaching gymnastics and tumbling for over ten years. He is an Assistant Coach for Style's USAG level gymnasts, as well as Mason Dixon. He has been with Style Gymnastics for 10 years.
Abby Walker- Abby is a college freshman and serves as class substitute, birthday party hostess and works with the summer camp program. She was a USAG gymnast for many years and then transitioned to assisting and teaching classes.
Hannah Weaver- Hannah has joined the Style Gymnastics coaching staff as a class instructor and assists with the pre-team. She is a recent high school graduate and enjoys working with young children.
Dawn Williams- Dawn competed as a high level gymnast for many years and now has turned her attention to teaching classes and coaching at Style.
Navid Wlotzka - Navid, an all-around athlete, was a gymnast for most of his life and has been coaching for over six years. Navid has been active in karate and earned his black belt after competing in the Junior Olympics. He also played hockey for four years on a travel team.
Natascha Wlotzka- She has been a gymnast for over 12 years. Natascha competed in two international competitions in France and Germany and competed in junior Olympics in 2002 in Tennessee. She also has been teaching gymnastics, hosting birthday parties and coaching team. She has also been trained in Tae Kwon Do.
